Support
One person builds and answers for Wanedays. Write about anything: a bug, a plan that feels wrong, a refund, or a feature you wish existed.
Replies usually arrive within two working days. If you are reporting a bug, your iOS version and what you tapped just before it happened save a round trip. Never send screenshots of anything you would rather keep private: nothing in your log is on our side, and we do not need it to help.
Common questions
Why does my pouch count go up on some days?
Because the plan is built on milligrams of nicotine rather than on pouches. On a day when the plan moves you to a weaker pouch, you may be allowed more of them and still take less nicotine than the day before. The daily total in milligrams is the number the plan guarantees never rises. The pouch count is how you actually take it.
Does Wanedays sync between my iPhone and iPad?
No. Your log lives in a database on one device and is never uploaded, so there is nothing to sync from. That is a deliberate trade: no account and no server means your nicotine log has no copy anywhere for anyone to request, leak or subpoena.
I am moving to a new iPhone. Will my log come with it?
If you restore the new phone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one, yes, because the app's database travels inside that backup. Setting the new phone up fresh and installing Wanedays from the App Store gives you an empty app. Your subscription follows your Apple Account either way.
I paid already and the app is asking me to subscribe.
Open the settings screen and use the restore option there. That asks Apple which subscriptions your Apple Account holds and unlocks the app again. It is the fix after reinstalling or switching devices. If it does not work, check that you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on, then write to us.
How do I cancel?
In iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Wanedays, then cancel. You can also go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription, so do this first. For a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com, since Apple handles every payment and we cannot issue one.
The plan is coming down faster than I can manage.
There is an option in settings that rebuilds the plan at a gentler pace from where you are now, keeping everything you have already logged. Wanedays asks about this on its own when your confidence answers suggest it, and it only ever offers. It never tells you what you should do.
I logged a pouch by mistake.
An undo appears for a short window right after you log one, on the home screen and after a tap on the widget. Take it within that window and the entry goes away entirely.
Do I have to reach zero?
No. One of the three routes descends to a daily amount you choose and holds there, and the plan ends at that floor. Wanedays does not call that floor a quit date and does not rank it against the routes that reach zero. The research does not support ranking them, so the app stays quiet about it.
Why will the app not tell me what my heart rate means?
Because it cannot know. The Cochrane review of oral nicotine pouches (2025, CD016220) covers four studies and 284 participants, and none of them looked at stopping pouch use. There is no basis for saying that your falling dose moved a number in your body, so Wanedays plots your readings beside the plan and draws no line between them. Interpreting a reading is a job for a clinician.
Does Wanedays work offline?
Entirely, apart from starting or restoring a subscription, which needs Apple. Logging, the plan, the widget and reminders all run on the device with no connection at all.
How do I turn reminders off?
Either from the reminder settings inside the app, or by revoking the notification permission in iOS Settings under Notifications. Both work, and neither restricts anything else in the app.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app. iOS removes its container and the database inside it. We hold no copy, so there is nothing to ask us to erase. Cancel the subscription first if you have one, since it outlives the app. See the privacy policy for the detail.
